Your father did not love you. No one who loves you does something that heinous could ever love you. But there are people in your life that truly love you. Move on from the past. Forgive your father, but do not forget what he did. It was wrong, but forgive him and let his soul move on to the next life.

I agree, you should forgive your father but not to do his soul any favors. The damnation he may feel, is deserved, he did it to himself. You should forgive so that your spirit isn't the one who's bound to the past and destined to continue the pain learned there by repeating it in relationships that are just as damaging. Forgive so that you're able to transition from being trapped as a victim to gaining strength and thriving as a survivor. Peace at last, you do deserve.

i belive your defintion of love is wrong and misunderstood.molesting has nothing to do with love.its all sin.youre father knew what he was doing is wrong and yet he continue until his death.
