I didn't really know, not really. But when I look back on it, I see how obvious it was that my father was molesting my 2 best friends. And even now, I feel like it's my fault, no matter what anyone says I will feel the same.

All you can do now is educate others about how to spot the warning signs. You dont deserve this guilt - put that emotion towrards something positive like prevention of sexual abuse.

My father did the same thing to my best friends, one was my cousin. There was nothing you could have done and nothing you can do now except be there for them if there is still a relationship between all of you.
I have forgiven my father and realize that he is mentally ill to have done such things.
You are in a tough space and I hope that you remember to have compassion for yourself.
Cry with an agenda.
Allow yourself to feel and then remember that his actions are not yours.

If you can't alleviate your guilt put it towards something useful. You couldn't protect your friends but make it your mission to protect other young people in the same situation.

If that's true - look them up and encourage them to come forward. Otherwise, it might just be some random thoughts and comments that have you rethinking past events. All I'm saying is be VERY careful about your thoughts and make sure they're honest observations and not misguided by outside influences. Good luck!
