My friend is gay, he was spotted in a gay club kissing another guy. I searched his hard drive on his laptop when he was not looking one day and found cookies for gay meeting websites. He is depressed, I can see it, he seems lost, but i do not know what to do. Should i say something and freak him out?

talk to him about it, say that youre there for him, and most importantly, be there for him if he wants to talk about it. dont press the issue too much though if he doesnt want to talk about it

talk to him! He is more worried about being rejected as a friend than being Gay! If you are a true friend, talk to him, tell him its all right and maybe he seems depressed because he feels he cannot be himself.

Don't push the issue, but make sure he knows that you care about him either way. He may not necissarily be depressed but knowing that you accept him will go a long way to making him feel safe and happy.

Why do you associate gay with depressed? Maybe he's not telling you he's gay because of exactly this reaction. "Oh, you're gay? There's something wrong with you, you need help."
Just let him be. So he's gay... Big whoop. That doesn't mean jack and s*** as far as mental state goes.
