I have genital herpes. And my significant other has no idea. And we just did it again last night. I just told him he must be allergic to my lipstick. I have no idea how to tell him.

its okay, everyone makes mistakes- no use in beating yourself up over it now - but what i would do is tell him you think you have an infection of sorts, go to the clinic, and say you just found out you had them now. itll soften the blow if he doesnt think youve been hiding it. then both of you- start taking that drug that helps keep breakouts away

Tell him that you have been to the doctor and have been diagnoses with herpes. Then, tell him he should definately go to the doctor himself. He'll be pissed at you -- but you already know you deserve his anger. If this relationship does end, please be more considerate to your next boyfriend.

You just gave him herpes for the rest of his life. How could you do that to someone? I'm sorry, but that is absolutely disgraceful. I don't look down upon people with STDs or anything, but knowingly transmitting one to someone you supposedly care about is horrible.

I cannot believe you knew you had herpes and didn't tell the person you were sleeping with. That's just as bad as those people a few years ago who had HIV and were putting needles in movie seats that they had stabbed themselves with. Ugh! I just find it disgusting that another human being could be so selfish and stupid.
