My secret son
QuickCode :
When I was 15, I found out I was pregnant. I ran away from home. I stayed with my cousin whom I told I was pregnant. She didn't tell my mom. My mom let me stay there though. I lived there for a year, and gave birth to my baby boy. We stayed for another year until I was 17 and my son was almost 2. I got a job as a secretary even further away from my moms house. So my son and I moved into our own apartment. It was a definate fixer upper. We didn't tell my mom I was moving. She assumed that for the next year I was still at my cousins. I visited her on and off when I could get someone to watch my son.
I finally told her I moved out from my cousin's last year when I was 18. I am now 19 and my son is 4. My mother still has no idea I ever had a kid.

Just tell her... you are an adult and you have raised a child for four years. you have proven yourself. your mother is missing out as well as your son.

It will be hard at first, but I think your mom should know. Just think if your son ran off at age seventeen and never told you of his child. You'd want to know.

Enough is enough, unless you're afraid of your mom and/or what she'll do to the father - let her know you had a child. I'm sorry, but if the father would have been in legal trouble for impregnating you - then that needs to be addressed, wrong is wrong and at 15 you were either (a) too young to make the decision that changed your life or (b) an unwilling participant. Either way, you need to take charge and make things right. I'm sure you're thrilled with the end result (your child) but owe it to your household to give them a grandmother and a future without lies. Good luck and God bless.

You need to just tell you're mother. She's seen how well you've done; moving into an apartment, raising a child since you were 15 and i'm guessing you're pretty well off. Telling her will most likely raise your self-esteem, and might even just strengthen you and hers relationship. good luck to you, though. =]

Tell her, I am sure she won't reject you or your kid. Plus, you'll get to see a real surprising face from your mom, I'd love to be in your position, and I am a guy. I'd be like, hey mom, by the way, I have a kid, he is 4 years old already, time flies by, doesn't it? I think she'd melt when she sees your kid.

WHY? you are cheating your son out of the love and support of his grandmother and yourself too, she could be there for all kinds of things and babysitting, and you are cheating her out of her grandson, UNLESS she is a b____ then i understand, i do not let my MOTHER IN LAW anywhere near my kids because she is a back stabbing b____
