I'm 19 and just found out my parents are criminals. Both are wanted for tax evasion in a state we moved away from 7 years ago. I'm about to lose everything, my parents, my siblings, my car..everything...and no one knows.

is your car in your name? if not get it in your name! Get everything you can in your name so that when your parents go down, you wont. Look into putting the house in your name (only if you really trust that the mortage will get paid) so they dont lose the house. You must feel horribly betrayed though

Wow. I'm sorry. That really sucks. However, legally, you're now an adult. You can make your own decisions. You don't have to be like your parents- you aren't them, and they're not you. I know finding out about this must hurt...

i agree that you should speak to a lawyer, it isn't betraying them to make sure you don't go down with them
