Please help me!!!

so i'm dating someone who is much older than me, for about a year now and no one knows not even my best friend, but several people might think poorly of me for being with him(not that they don't like him), and i want to tell everyone so bad because i'm madly in love with him, what shoould i do? please help

Being madly in love is great. Just a word of caution, please talk to him about it and find out if you are on the same page before you go public. With a 20 year disparity you should be in pretty different places in your lives. He might be getting something different from your relationship.

Hi, I know where the first poster is coming from. I am in my 40s and recently had a relationship with a younger woman. The entire time I was cautious, trying to make sure that she was in the same space that I was, as I'm recently divorced and was not looking for a serious relationship. I feel that she just told me what I wanted to hear, but really wanted more from me than I could give her at this point in her life. I feel bad that she became involved with me when she could have been dating someone that could meet her needs.

well, i dated some one younger than me once....and she turned around and told me she couldnt trust herself with me any longer. so heres my advice.if you realy love him, it wont matter who knows when they find out. if you dont realy love him it will fall apart like mine relationship did when her parents laid a guilt trip on her. so, keep that in mind. love doesnt have an age atached to it. but people can and will influence you, if you cant take the verbal asaults, then you dont deserve him. and thats the way i felt after she broke up with me. cause her friends found out too. so thats how it went.

Who cares what people think? Screw them. I agree with Guest821011, make sure you're on the same page first before you say anything. Other than that who cares what anyone thinks, what matters is the choices we make in our lives and our happiness-- if you're both happy more power to you, regardless of what other people think.
