Did you? Thats the real question? Are you safe. If by not telling you your sister going to get the same treatment? These are all question i know you have thought of and you know what the sooner you do the more likely you are able to convict this guy. I am going through something similar but he was my actual dad. I waited too long and i am not ok. I strugled with eating dissorder and cutting these are all issues that are big. Its safe to say that you have some issues that have come from this whole ordeal. If you dont want to do anything about it i can understand . But you need to do something from a mental stance. You need to tell some one. School counciers are a god sent. I am telling you. maybe she thought you two were hooking up with your consent, not him actually raping you?
and she didnt want to say anything incase you didnt want anyone to know. you should really talk to her about it and make sure you know for sure what she she saw.

It is your responsiblity to tell someone about what happened...Many many people get away with rape and sexual assault because the victims of it feel that it was their fault, that they deserved it...also feelings of guilt and shame...but you are not at fault, and there are people who care.

don't mind what the last asshole posted, I understand how you feel about not telling, it's only people that don't understand that can't see how difficult it is, I guess the primary concern is the safety for yourself, your step sister and others, but at the end of the day I know what it's like to not want to face it and just run away, I also understand the fear of wishing you never told because people refuse to believe it, if you tell, only tell those you trust, letting everyone know isn't necessarily the best move.
