She Trusts Me. Dammit.

She has serious trust issues with guys. If she knows a guy likes her, she totally shuts down around him. She doesn't know how to deal with it.
I'm one of the closest friends she has. We've been friends for years now, and have even lived together. She tells me things that girls don't tell their guy friends. She asks me about the girls I go out with, but I try to respond with generalities. I know her. She probably trusts me more than any other guy in the world.
She has no idea how I feel about her.

If she trusts you so much maybe you should risk telling her. Obviously you don't want to make her uncomfortable, but it sounds like a solid place to move from. If you know what in particular her trust issues are about, make sure to avoid them (for instance, if she distrust men who compliment her on her looks, tell her what a great, smart, kind person she is instead). After this much time and this close a friendship she should know you're not like most guys. Good luck.

I have been that girl and she more than likely knows how you feel, talking to her would be a good idea... that way you both understand each other
