Shouldn't be happy

I have been unhappily married for at least 5 years out of 10. Haven't been intimate with him for almost 4. I was unfaithful to him a year ago. Last September I met the most wonderful man on the internet. He has been an incredible emotional support to me for all these months. I am such an emotional wreck and have been unable to meet with him because I feel my past speaks for itself. I have to turn him away and hurt both of us because I can't seem to let go of my past and allow myself to fall in love and be happy.

first, i think you should try to fix your relationship with your husband, hit to him that you aren't happy. Maybe then he will realize and he will try to fix things too.

If you are unhappy in your current releationship you should end it. You shouldn't have to live miserably.

falling in "love" on the internet hurt me in a big way, the dynamics of a relationship in person are very different, if you want things to work with this new man you will need to meet do so in a public area and remember that online is not the same as in line of sight! ;)

I have been in a marriage for a year but been with this person for 7 years and im about to end it for the same reason. You should as well. It wont do either one of you any good if you are unhappy. Take a leap and go with your heart. Make yourself happy!
