I found out that the girl i had a crush on cut herself in the car on day -- i saw her wrists. It took me so much courage to ask her what was wrong, and she told me she just had a rough summer. All i said is that she could talk to me, but i knew that she was too afraid. Open up to someone -- if they sincerely care about you, they'll want you to.

i understand how comforting it is and that you don't fell like you need help but you do. if not for you then for people who care about you. my friend cut and she said it made her feel better. she got help and committed suicide a year later. talk to one of your close friends, someone that you trust. they can help you more than anyone else can.

I cut everyday when i was younger (i have gashes on my arms still) but then i met my best friend. He started noticing the cutting. I promised him i wouldnt do it again. YEAH RIGHT!! when he saw the new cuts he took his car key and cut himself with it deep until I was IN TEARS. Then the said "this is what it feels like when someone you love hurts themself" I am a 7 year recovering cutter thanks to him and that one moment...

I know how you feel. I cut for over 6 years. I'm dating someone now who essentially won't let me, but I would be lying if I told you I didn't think about it every single day... Hang in there, find someone who makes it worth it not to and feels better than the pain.
