Tears well up in my eyes when high school children get married because you have yet to propose. You said in four years. How about now? I'm pregnant now. Am I still to wait four years? People younger than us are getting married and not sneaking around everywhere like children even though they are children! What about us? I love you, but will hate you dearly until the day you propose.

Why don't you propose? I know it's every womans dream to see the man she loves down on one knee with that beautiful ring, eyes full of love and devotion.. but it could be just as magical if you did it. :)

talk to him about it. let him know how you feel. and if he isnt ready but you have been for a while move on. i know its hard especially with a kid on they way but you need someone dependable ans ready for children and he obviously isnt it.

Don't force anything. Get married when you both _decide_ to start a happy family togeather - with all what it takes and brings. Being a happy family requires commitment, devotion, friendship, intimacy and shared future. This is a kind of love you need for a marriage.
When my wife to be proposed I answered sth. like "let's live togeather and find out what it's like to be a happy family". Later, after 9 months, I proposed in front of both families "down on one knee with that beautiful ring".
