upper hand

QuickCode : power

I love having the upper hand in my relationship. I hate it when I don't get what I want, so I usually do get what I want and do whatever I want. I like the power and think I may have a problem. How can I change this behavior?

I don't know, but make sure you post it if you find out. I'm in the same boat you are.

ask your partner what they want, it's just that simple. Making a conscious effort to want what the other person wants, and to take pleasure when your partner gets what they want is the first step in always wanting dominance.

you're like my boyfriend. Just try to stop. I promise, your significant other will hate you for it if you don't.

my boyfriend is the same. the worthlessness i feel is becoming unbearable, i cry everyday sometimes so much i can't hold my own body up. the worst this is telling him how i feel only to get yelled at, being called a drama queen and getting told to fuck off. It's not hard to show someone you love them. That's all we ask. some consideration. just try, you'll be amazed at the changes

realize that by always putting your needs first, you are constantly ignoring the needs of those around you. if you truly care for a person, im sure you dont want to intentionally undermine their needs, but thats what youre doing. i know... i do it too
