i am a virgin.
i am waiting till i can say i love you to have sex.
but.. my friends push me on random ppl and try to make me like someone i don't becaue they say "i dont give people a chance.. and have too high expectations" but its just i don't have feelings for the boys they try to fix me up with.... then when ever i hook-up with someone i.e kissing, people talk about it ALOT and make comments as if they havent done the same thing...

i'm afarid that's all i will ever be and that i will always be alone and never fall in love. I am afarid i will never find a boy who really loves me for more then just a hook-up. i am afaird i'm not good enough to be loved...

Honey, you're doing the right thing; don't let your friends push you into something that you don't want or aren't ready for. I'm a virgin too, and I know what you're going through. When I lose my virginity I don't want it to just be with some random guy, I want it to be with someone special so that I never regret it.

And some guys will try to make you a conquest. But I've found a quick way to get rid of those guys; it's going to sound a little harsh or maybe strange, but it always gets rid of the losers who just want sex. When I feel that they are getting close to the point of wanting to go farther than I want to, we have a talk. In this talk I explain to them that I have a sort of rule; I won't have sex with a guy unless I've been dating him for over a year and I love him. If all that they want is sex, they'll leave shortly after that conversation. But if they want a meaningful relationship and they truly value you and your feelings, they'll stay.

This is the reason why I'm a 19 year old virgin, I have never really been in love. I've always assumed that if I can stay with a guy for over a year, I'll love him and he'll love me, and that will be a good way to lose my virginity. So maybe if you come up with some kind of rule like that, you won't feel as pressured as you do now and you'll be able to get rid of the guys who see you as a conquest. Good luck and stay strong!
