Video Games

I'm addicted to WoW. I probably play 5-12 hours / day. I don't have a girlfriend in real life - but I have two in the game.

I often play games at work and on weekends I come home friday night and usually play right thru the weekend.

WoW rules, but I don't think its worth trading in my real.

Stop playing World of Warcraft right now. After a couple of weeks you won't miss it anymore and you are going to regret all of the time you spent in the game with nothing tangible to show for it.
Let's face it memories created in a virtual world don't give you the same warm and fuzzies that sharing experiences with friends or family does. I was addicted to EverQuest.

try slowing down a little at a time... sometimes if you do that and start hanging with friends those hours that you are not playing you will do better at quiting or just slowing down... if you like what you are doing don't quit because others tell you, slow down because you want a real relationship... my husband is addicted to AOE3.. i have ginin him so much heck for that.. but only because i don't want him to look back in the future and regret spending that time on the computer instead of with me or don't something rewarding...

SO many of my male friends waste their time playing their imaginary life. I know its fun, but its meant to be played in spare time.
You aren't supposed to MAKE time for that type of thing.

Don't play WoW for a couple weeks and go out and meet people, maybe you can find a real girlfriend and I SWEAR to you, it will be so much better than an online one.

I don't think you should quit completely, its something you enjoy, but try to even your life out to where its not the only thing you're doing.

quit cold turkey! Just give the game away! Make plans on friday and saturday nights that you know you will not be able to back out of. In a couple of weeks you will not even think about it.

Just Quit, thats it. Cut off payment, and try to find things negative about the game. I know it sounds bad, and cruel, but it works when one is addicted to an MMO.

it's easy, stop playing that s*, develop some interests that are appealing to others (normal people) and get out there and socialize.

find a hobbie or sport u like tot play....that will take ur mind off it and get u outdoors. don't waste ur life away on a computer when u could be living a fun life with real people.

Don't quit, dear jesus. These people are foolish. Find somebody who shares your interests. I'm not a WoW fan, but I can not get enough of playing Gears Of War on 360. My boyfriend isn't very fond of the game, but he loves playing video games with me. Find a girl who realizes that you love the game.

Take the cd, break it in half - and uninstall the game immediately.

The problem with WoW is you can't beat the game. But, what you can do is find a better game. You can also find a girl that likes playing games, and play them with her!

Hey guys back off, I don't think you should quit WoW. For example, I'm a moocher, i mooch WoW off of my other friends so therefore its free for me. But i only get to play maybe like 5 times a month, so i do play but just not that much. AS for girlfriends, i am a girl and let me tell you online relationships are probally the greatest thing ever. Instead of having guys looking at my tits, they actally listen to what I am saying over the phone...
